Accreditation Canada recently conducted an on-site survey of our organization and we are thrilled to share that we were Accredited with Exemplary Standing. We are very proud of everyone who works here and their commitment to quality improvement. The on-site survey was an excellent learning experience and highlighted the ways in which we can make our services better. In an effort to be transparent about our quality improvement processes, we are making our Accreditation Report available on our website. It highlights our successes and opportunities for improvement. Everyone at HWMH and EG worked together to achieve these results, which demonstrates our commitment to continuous quality improvement for our entire community. The survey team that visited the organization this past March, shared that ‘HWMH and EG are commended for the exceptional leadership and delivery of acute care and long-term care services to their community.”
We humbly acknowledge that the land on which we provide services is located on the ancestral lands of many generations of First Nations peoples. With gratitude, we recognize that the settler population has been able to benefit from this beautiful land. We pledge to be mindful stewards of this land and provide a safe space within our communities that include Six Nations of the Grand River, Mississaugas of the Credit, Metis, Inuit and Settlers. We are committed to learning and reflecting on our shared past, listening to Indigenous voices and pursue a more inclusive, collaborative and respectful path towards a better future.
