Edgewater Gardens Welcomes the Doubling of its Capacity
DUNNVILLE – Yesterday’s announcement from the Ontario government that Edgewater Gardens will be
increasing its capacity to 128 from 64 spaces is welcome news for the long-term care home.
Message from HWMH/EG Board Chair: President and CEO Appointment

On behalf of the Board of Governors of Haldimand War Memorial Hospital and Edgewater Gardens, it is my extreme pleasure to announce the appointment of the next President and CEO, Sharon Moore.
After several months of a thorough job search that drew quality candidates from coast to coast to coast and also attracted applications from overseas, we are pleased to have signed our Interim CEO and longtime Chief Nursing Officer to this critical position.
Sharon’s leadership this past year as interim CEO has been exemplary during the Covid-19 pandemic. We are optimistic that Sharon and her proactive dedicated team will bring us through the dark days yet ahead.
With all of your continued support and dedication, coupled with Sharon’s leadership skills and style, the Board is confident that Haldimand War Memorial Hospital and Edgewater Gardens will continue to shine as a beacon in the community and grow our reputation as one of the best small town hospitals in the province.
