At Haldimand War Memorial Hospital we understand how important medical imaging is. That’s why we offer a diagnostic imaging department staffed by trained Medical Radiation Technologist, Sonographers and Radiologist to ensure the best possible patient care.

Is an appointment required?
Appointments are required for all test other than General Radiography. General Radiography are on a walk-in basis.
I need to reschedule my appointment, who do I contact?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment in order for us to schedule another patient from our waitlist. Please call 905-774-7431 x 1221.
How do I prepare?
At the time your appointment is booked, you will be advised of any special instructions to prepare for your test.
The day of your appointment please arrive 15 min prior to your scheduled appointment time with a valid health card to allow for registration.
How long will I need to wait for a computed tomography (CT) appointment?

WE-CARE 2 IMAGE refers to the OH West Diagnostic Imaging Central Intake Program designed to provide a single point of entry for patients and providers to access CT and MRI diagnostic imaging services across the West Region.
The WE-CARE 2 IMAGE Program is directly aligned with Ontario Health’s provincial vision for Centralized Intake systems. This program is on track to being the first regional central intake hub for diagnostic imaging.
WE-CARE 2 IMAGE is the official name of the OH West Diagnostic Imaging Central Intake Program. WE-CARE 2 IMAGE acronym refers to West-Collaborative-Access-Regional-Equitable with a focus on our region and CT and MRI diagnostic imaging services.
