Marnie brings over 25 years of human resources and advisory experience working across child welfare and healthcare sectors. Currently, is the Director, Human Resources & Volunteer Services at Women’s College Hospital. Previously, she has served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto (CAST), an executive position she has held for more than 5 years. Prior to joining CAST, she worked as the Director of Human Resources at the Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton and in progressively senior roles at the Joseph Brant Hospital. Each experience has allowed her to develop an innovative and effective leadership style with exceptional team building, change management and negotiation skills. She has a proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders to build consensus and consistently achieve objectives.
With a passion for people, Marnie is focused on elevating community services and enhancing client and patient care. She has served on several Boards and Committees centred on healthcare and child services at Nucleus Independent Living and within the Halton Mississauga LHIN. In addition to being a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), Marnie holds her Master of Science in Health Administration complemented by her Bachelor’s degree. Most recently she became a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner and considers herself to be a life-long learner.
