The Board of Directors of Haldimand War Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Amanda Bell as Chief of Staff effective September 2, 2025.  The addition of Dr. Bell to our leadership team reflects our commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community.

Dr. Bell currently serves as the Regional Assistant Dean for the Niagara Regional Campus of McMaster University’s Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine and she brings a wealth of experience in medical leadership, clinical governance and educational innovation.  Dr. Bell has over 20 years of experience in family medicine and hospital based care. She has a deep understanding of rural healthcare and she brings a wealth of experience in recruiting physicians and developing innovative partnerships.
